Parts of the Letter Reflection

Typography originated by hand which can be defined as a series of marks that construct a letterform. I find it very interesting to think about the inventors of the fonts we use today. Something as common as Times New Roman is use so frequently it is interesting that most never stop to realize that the font originated at the tip of someone's pencil or pen. Typography has evolved over the years greatly. Now we can search the internet for new and better fonts. It is also interesting to me that each letter form has specific parts that can be identified and separated from other fonts. Each part of a letter form together to make a swift visual flow for the viewers eye.
